Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Professor of Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering is serving as Director of Delhi institute of science & Technology, New Delhi. Dr. Gupta has vast teaching experience of more than 22 years in AICTE approved engineering institutes and most of the time; he was actively involved in the planning, implementation and monitoring of affairs / issues related to academics and overall administration of the organization, and also served as Director of NITRA Technical Campus, Ghaziabad & SSITM, Aligarh and as a Dean of MIET & IIMT, Greater Noida. He is continuously working for continuous improvement and actively engaged with accreditations and ranking associated works like NBA ,NAAC,IIC,NIRF etc.

He holds PhD in the area of signal processing along with the masters and graduation degree in electronics engineering. His research area is Signal processing and communication systems. He published more than 20+ papers in national / international conferences and journals and 02 design patents with 4 copy-rights and 1 start-up. He successfully completed 10+ FDPs and delivered 50+ lectures on Outcome Based Education (Awareness / Adoption / Computation of Attainments), innovation & design thinking. He is life member of ISTE and IETE. Dr Gupta believes in systematic and transparent working of the engineering institution.
